More Bell Ringers !!

The other director for the Warren County Community Bell Choir is Gerry Profitt , Director of
Jubellation! at the Heritage Baptist Church in suburban Lebanon. This bell choir organization is only 2 years old but has already played in several community concerts as well as at worship services. Gerry has been ringing bells
since the 1970's when he was student at Pacific Bible College in San Dimas, California. He has directed numerous
bell choirs and been in a number of hand bell organizations. I would like you to meed his bell choir-
Jubellation! at a recent appearance at A CONCERT OF INSPIRATION June 14, 2009.
This bell choir will be part Warren Community Bell Choir debut performance, Dec. 13, 2009
at CHRISTMAS IN WARREN COUNTY: A COMMUNITY CONCERT: JOY TO THE WORLD.

25 Member Hand Bell Choir to Debut 12/13/09

.. Bells will ring for the debut performance of the Warren County Community Bell Choir. This choir is the creation of two directors- who actually met through the Christmas in Warren County concerts- Brian Matthews ,Director of Chapel Bell, Lebanon United Methodist
Church Bell Choir and Gerry Profitt, Director of Jubellation!, Heritage Baptist Church Bell Choir. These two
directors bring a wealth of talent to the concert. Brian has rung bells since a youth and since 1989 has been the
bell choir director at LUMC. Brian's mom is a ringer and his dad has assisted in setting up- so it is a family
event with the Matthews family.
As I can only post 1 photo per blog I am going to post today a photo of the Chapel Bells, bell choir.
This will be exciting as this year year bell choir will perform separately and then together- with
both directors taking a turn at directing the group. According to the American Guild of English Handbell
Ringers ,Vicki Iverson- by phone - she told me that currently they DO NOT have a group of ringers this
size registered. There may be a larger one out there but this is something big for Southwestern Ohio and
definitely the largest bell choir in the area.
