Rehearsing for Hark the Herald Angels !

Our groups are rehearsing for this year's concert :HARK THE HERALD ANGELS ! Dec. 5, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Lebanon Presbyterian Multi Purpose Room. We will focus this
year on our very talented "younger" Warren County musicians.

This year we are pleased to introduce the North Cincinnati String Orchestra who
meets and practices at the Mason Christian Village ( Dir. Marva Rasmussen).
Also we are excited about the return to our concerts of the Little Miami HS Women's Chorus ( Dir. Sarah Baker) . These young women have recently won a number of coveted regional honors and are outstanding singers. It is great to present them along with the return appearance of
Lebanon HS Band ensemble- ( Dir. Dave Ianelli) who have again won superior awards at regional band competitions.
The best of the best this year !

Our other wonderful groups include:
The Vivaldi's Dulcimers
The Jubellee Bell Ensemble ( Dir. Amy Voris)
The St. Francis De Sales Parish Children's Choir ( Dir. Cassie Goergeff)
The North Cincinnati String Orchestra (photo)
Heritage Music ( Dir. Catherine Estill)

Looking forward to seeing you there !!

year's event to be held Dec.5, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church's Multi- Purpose Room. We are so grateful for the church to host this event still open to the community FREE ! It has been an amazing journey of faith and commitment to Warren County to even have this event each year . It is wonderful to be able to showcase our talented local performers at this venue. Howard Longmire :Our Otterbein Choral Director Passes

Just looking at this photo of the Mens' Chorus from the Otterbein Retirement Community in
Lebanon reminds me that off camera somewhere Howard Longmire had his baton raised !
The Men's and Women's Chorus' were projects dear to his heart and he was a talented musician
and choral director. Did I mention he was also a nice person? Howard passed away on Aug 4. and although
he was only with us for CWCC of 2009 he will be missed by all. Howard embodied what
community music is for all of us in our CWCC programs- a lifelong commitment to music.
Howard may have retired from a "job" but he did not retire from music- ever. He was an inspiration
to all and a beloved director to the singers in the Otterbein community. Howard made Warren County
a better place to live and he will be missed.
